Building A Brand While Becoming

When I first started, I didn’t have a blueprint.
I had experiences.
I had hard seasons.
I had lessons I didn’t even realize were teaching me something yet.
In the beginning, I was deep in my spirituality. I wanted to take on the world — heal everybody, pour into everybody. My heart was wide open. I created spiritual products, hoping to bring light into people’s lives. When I launched, I sold out on the first day. I made a profit instantly. It felt magical, like the Universe was telling me, “This is it.”
And then — life hit me harder than ever.
Not long after that first big win, I was evicted after a domestic dispute with a family member and a neighbor. I found out I was pregnant. I was trying to hold onto the momentum I had built, but the truth was — I was barely holding onto myself.
I couldn’t do everything the way I wanted to.
I didn’t have the time, the energy, or the sanity.
But even in the middle of my chaos, people were still finding me. They were still coming to me for help, comfort, clarity. And somehow, even in the middle of my own storms, I was still able to be a light for somebody else.
That’s when I realized:
Your brand isn’t just what you create.
It’s who you are while you’re creating it.
The more open and honest I became about what I was going through, the stronger my platform became. People weren’t just drawn to the services or products — they were drawn to the realness.
Because so many of us were carrying the same weight, just in different ways.
Once life started settling for me, I dove even harder into my purpose.
I started writing again — working on books for children, telling stories that reflected everything I had learned about strength, beauty, and healing.
And this time, I wasn’t trying to “prove” anything.
I wasn’t trying to be like anyone else.
I built my brand around the one thing nobody else could duplicate:
My own truth.
Now, Lucid Domain is not just a brand — it’s a self-help experience, a reflection of resilience, growth, and authenticity. It’s a space for men, women, and children who are navigating life, healing, creating, and becoming.
I’m proud of where I came from.
I’m proud of the detours, the storms, the seasons that made me softer and stronger at the same time.
I’m proud that I didn’t wait to be “finished” before I started showing up.
So if you’re building your brand while you’re still becoming, hear me when I say:
You’re doing it right.
Your experience is your expertise.
Your heart work is your brand.
Your truth will always set you apart.
Keep building — even when it’s messy.
Keep becoming — even when it’s hard.
You’re exactly where you need to be.
